Contribuição das disciplinas do curso de especialização em ecologia e intervenções ambientais da UNIJORGE para a formação profissional dos estudantes da primeira turma

Abstract

This study presents the results of student evaluation in 2008 for the course of Specialization in Ecology and Environmental operations University Centre Jorge Amado. It addresses the level of theoretical and methodological contribution of the subjects for vocational training. Differences between the theoretical and methodological contribution provided by the subjects of the course were researched, as well as examining the relationship between the student’s areas of activity (management, education or research) and contribution levels (theoretical and methodological) allocated to subjects. The results revealed that, although in general the course subjects didn’t differ in terms in their theoretical and methodological contribution for vocational training, which was evaluated as good, it is important to make a more detailed assessment of pedagogical proposals adopted by the subjects, as the levels of theoretical and methodological contribution varied considerably between subjects.
