This article makes considerations about possible spontaneous manifestations that may occur in teaching practices, such as surprising expressions, gestures or attitudes both on the part of the teacher and on the part of the students and that can bring out experiences from the past, from the psychic history of these actors in the classroom or precipitate (un)predictable future occurrences, characterizing crossings of the symbolic of these subjects, which can be extremely valuable or disturbing for the pedagogical process in progress. These aspects of diversity in teacher training and teaching practice led to reflection on the 18th Interculte, as a challenge to decipher the theme and an exercise in proposing new discussions, based not only on the contents of the curricular components, but also on the concepts of inclusion, equality and difference, with the ethical commitment of each professional, the Institution and each family, in building a new era.
