Uso de enriquecimento ambiental no estímulo e análise do comportamento animal em camundongos de linhagens pigmentadas e não pigmentadas

The use of laboratory animals in scientific experiments is common and widespread in several countries, however little importance was given to the stress levels caused to these animals. Due to recent research on animal behavior, the need to minimize such suffering has been observed, thus providing better results for research performance. The implementation of new methodologies for the management and development of equipment for environmental enrichment aimed at animal welfare, encourages the discussion of the effectiveness of such implements. Thus, the objective of this work is to analyze the behaviors presented by the different mouse strains in the use of environmental home mouse enrichment.
