Ocorrência de Euglossa leucotricha (Hymenoptera, Apidae) na Chapada Diamantina, Bahia, Brasil

Occurrence of Euglossa leucotricha (Hymenoptera, Apidae) in Chapada Diamantina, Bahia, Brazil. An amount of 199 Euglossa leucotricha Rebêlo & Moure was sampled using odoriferous traps containing eucalyptol in herbaceous and shrub environments in the Municipal Park of Mucugê and its surroundings (12º59’S, 41º20’W), Bahia, Brazil. This is the first occurrence recorded within the State of Bahia. Previous records of such specie were found only for the States of São Paulo, Minas Gerais, Rio de Janeiro and Alagoas.
