Inventário de abelhas, Mata Atlântica, Área UrbanaAbstract
This study aimed to perform an inventory of the bee species from a fragment of secondary Atlantic Rain Forest located in District Ondina, UFBA Campus, with a large atrophic influence. The bee fauna was sampled by two collection methods: insect nets and pantraps; when possible the insects were also collected directly on the flowers by using lethal chambers. Were performed two samples, conducted in March and April 2010, performing eight hours of daily effort, each, besides sporadic collections in alternative schedules (when wasn't raining). The bees specimens, previously collected on the campus of UFBA by several researchers and students, and deposited at the Museum of Zoology MZUFBA were also studied in order to characterize the local fauna. It were studied 784 specimens of bees collected at the Campus of UFBA distributed in 21 genera, and 35 species, 160 specimens were collected in this study and 624 specimens previously deposited in MZUFBA. The family Apidae (96%; n= 747) was the most representative, followed by Halictidae(3,5%; n= 28) and Megachilidae (1,2%; n= 10), being the Apidae species, Euglossa carolinaNemésio, 2009 (72,7%; n= 570), Ancyloscelis apiformis (Fabricius, 1793) (5,1%;n= 40), Trigona spinipes (Fabricius, 1793) (4,3%; n= 34), Eulaema atleticana Nemésio, 2009 (4%; n=32) and Eulaema nigrita Lepeletier, 1841 (2,5%; n=20),the most representatives.References
