Entomofauna associada ao sub-bosque de um fragmento de Mata Atlântica, no município de Cruz das Almas - Bahia

This article encloses a preliminary characterization of entomofauna present in a remainder of Atlantic Forest in the city of Cruz das Almas, the Cazuzinha Forest. Among the most abundant specimens in the region we can find the following Orders: Orthoptera, Hemiptera, Diptera, Lepidoptera, Homoptera and Hymenoptera. What is detachable is that in spite of the antropic degradation, the vegetal covering still shelters great diversity of insects which are very abundant in the region.
