EXTENSÃO UNIVERSITÁRIA: AÇÃO MICROEMPREENDEDOR INDIVIDUAL 2022 DO CENTRO UNIVERSITÁRIO JORGE AMADO

Abstract

University extension, along with teaching and research, is one of the tripods of higher education. However, it is a tripod that does not have the same weight as others within Brazilian universities. Taking into account that university extension can unite university and community and also be an indication of social responsibility, this work aims to describe the Individual Microentrepreneur Action 2022, which took place at Centro Universitário Jorge Amado, in the city of Salvador - BA, through of the coordination of the Bachelor of Accounting Sciences and the Accounting Management Center, from May 9 to 30, 2022. In total, the action served 92 people, the main types of services carried out in the action were opening of MEI, regularization of MEI , guidance on activities, making the DAS/SIMEI declaration and closing the MEI. The volunteer monitors and teachers involved in the Action indicated improvements for future extension projects related to the Individual Microentrepreneur, the main one being the monitoring of people post-service. It is important to highlight that Ação Microempreendedor Individual received invitations for future partnerships in extension projects with other centers at Centro Universitário Jorge Amado, such as the Núcleo Amado and the Center for Research and Extension in International Relations.
